The Summits
The Summits, consisting of Tenaya Hall and Cathedral Hall and soon to be new to the community, Half Dome.
Tenaya Hall and Cathedral Hall are four-story buildings that opened in Fall 2010. They offer a traditional corridor-style residence hall experience with five bedrooms sharing a community restroom. Our custodial staff will work with the residents to maintain the cleanliness of the restrooms and public areas.
Residents of the summits may select from a variety of room types.
• Double occupancy* (bedroom accommodates two students)
• Triple occupancy (bedroom accommodates three students)
• Quad occupancy (bedroom accommodates four students)
• Single occupancy (bedroom accommodates one student) with priority given to students requiring disability housing accommodation
*Similar to the Sierra Terraces when the demand for freshmen housing warrants, double occupancy bedrooms are furnished to accommodate three students, at a discounted rate.
Additional Amenities
• Housing Office to get questions answered, sign out keys, pick-up mail and packages, and talk to the professional staff
• Access to a computer lab, academic support center, and an exercise and music room
• Meeting rooms for workshops and events
• Outdoor BBQ area
• Laundry facilities located within each residence hall along with study space available on each floor
