Welcome to UC Merced's Conference & Event Services

Conference & Event Services offers living accommodations for conference groups and individuals visiting the campus during the summer months, in addition to meeting space depending on your group's needs.

Guests will be housed in traditional residence halls and have the option of eating at the campus's dining center or scheduling a variety of catered meals through our Lakeside Catering Service.

Our professional conference and event staff will ensure you have a successful conference and assist you with every step and detail of the event planning process such as housing, dining, meeting space, transportation and gym facilities. We can also assist with local attractions such as a day trip to visit the largest Sequoias trees in the world, located in Yosemite National Park. We are your one-stop conference and event service. We are available for overnight groups in June, July and August.

UC Merced offers its guests a spectacular location. Surrounded by the fertile farmland of the San Joaquin Valley, the campus has beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The campus is located on the outskirts of the City of Merced, an expanding community bustling with excitement over hosting the newest University of California campus. Beautiful Lake Yosemite, a recreational facility, park and outdoor meeting area, is just a short distance from the campus. Nicknamed the “Gateway to Yosemite,” Merced is 66 miles from the awe-inspiring beauty of Yosemite National Park.
