On-campus parking is managed by Transportation and Parking Services(TAPS).
Incoming first-year resident parking permits are available by exception ONLY. A limited amount of space is also available to continuing and new transfer students but located at remote sites.

Parking at Heritage is restricted to the street unless you are assigned a parking stall. You may not use any of the uncovered stalls on site or the reserved spaces near the leasing offices at any time. 1 stall is allotted per student on a first come, first served basis. Additional stalls may be assigned dependent on availability. Parking assignments are not guaranteed unless you have a physical mobility issue or disability that requires a space near your unit. Failure to comply may result in your vehicle being towed, which is at the cost of the student.

UCM Heritage Residents will NOT be allowed to purchase a UCM commuter parking pass, however, may purchase a UCM Heritage carpool permit. Please note Heritage carpool spaces will be limited and released on a first come, first served basis. For all other parking information, please visit the TAPS web site, http://taps.ucmerced.edu/.
