National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH)

About the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH)

NRHH chapters are comprised of the top 1 percent of leaders living in on-campus housing. Each chapter develops its own process for selecting these members, as well as, their own chapter-specific traditions. The honorary is founded upon four pillars: leadership, scholastics, recognition and service.

Inducted individuals should embody each of these pillars and act as a stellar member of the residence life program. These pillars, in addition to our mission and vision statements, guide our thoughts and decision making on all matters of the honorary. Along with being honored for their leadership and involvement, NRHH members help to promote and recognize these qualities in others.

Of the Month Awards (OTMs)

Each month, NRHH recognizes students, program and groups who promote the values of the Housing & Residence Life community. Everyone is invited to nominate fellow residents, RAs, programs they have attended or an entire community.

Of The Months (OTM) are a great way to recognize a person, group or organization. If you would like to submit an OTM, please visit the national website and follow the instructions provided. NRHH will decide which OTM to submit to the regional level. If they selected, they will be sent to the national level. OTMs are due by the fifth of each month at 11:59 p.m. For instance, nominations for January are due Feb. 5. If you have any questions, please contact Jenni Plueard (jplueard@ucmerced.edu).
