Due to COVID-19, we will not provide regular summer housing on campus and will cancel all summer 2020 housing contracts. If living on campus is the safest option for you for summer sessions or you have questions or concerns about your summer housing situation, please call 209-228-2293 or email housing@ucmerced.edu by 5 p.m. Friday, May 1.

In addition to the stay at home order imposed by California Governor Gavin Newson in response to COVID-19 on March 19, 2020, Merced County also instituted a health order in response to the outbreak on April 8. UC Merced has announced summer sessions will be online. As a result, all services on campus will be significantly reduced for an unknown period. It’s likely there will be additional impacts to campus’ ability to provide housing and dining services this summer.
